From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I began my post-secondary education at the University of Guelph and graduated with a degree in animal biology in 2018. I then attended College Boreal where I received my diploma for veterinary technician in 2020 and obtained my registered status later that year.
I first joined Springer as a veterinary technician student for my 4-week placement before deciding to work here permanently. The areas of veterinary medicine that interest me the most and that I’m hoping to specialize in one day are lab work (clinical pathology) and nutrition.
When I’m not working at the hospital, I can be found enjoying the outdoors on a hike or canoeing, or at home caring for my German Shepherd “Mavi”, and Mastiff cross “Mars”.
